Jun Cai is a professor in Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China. He is the Deputy Director of Jiangsu Engineering Research Center on Meteorological Energy Using and Control(C-MEIC), the founder and director of the NUIST Novel Motor Drive and Control Laboratory. He is a distinguish professor and Academic dean of School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Anhui Jianzhu University, China. He is the Leader of Excellent Research and Innovation Team in Anhui Province's Higher Education Institutions, and Leader of the NUIST research team for new energy conversion and drive control. He is the Fellow of the royal society for the encouragement of arts, manufactures and commerce (RSA Fellow), Senior Member of IEEE, and Senior Member of Chinese Electrical Society. He is the associate editor or editor board member of twelve international journals in the field of electrical, control, energy and AI engineering. He has authored or coauthored over 120 leading journal and conference papers. He holds 120 patents.
