Journal of Human Settlements Sciences is an English academic journal dedicated to exploring cutting-edge interdisciplinary topics in the field of human settlement science. We uphold the spirit of openness, innovation and cooperation, and bring together experts and scholars from around the world to jointly promote the development and progress of human settlement science. JHSS covers a wide range of topics within the realm of human settlements. This includes but is not limited to urban planning and design, where it explores new concepts and strategies for creating functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable urban spaces. JSHS examines the relationship between human settlements and the environment. This involves research on environmental protection in urban and rural areas, the impact of climate change on human living environments, and the development of green building technologies to reduce the ecological footprint of human settlements. The journal also delves into rural development, addressing issues such as rural urban integration, rural infrastructure improvement, and the preservation of rural cultural heritage. Social aspects are also a key focus, including studies on housing policies, community development, and the well-being of residents in different types of settlements.
Journal of Human Settlements Sciences is launched to promote in depth research in the field of human settlements, including exploring the scientific, technological, social, and environmental aspects related to how humans inhabit and interact with different spaces. JHSS aims to be a leading platform for scholars and researchers to contribute new theories and concepts that can enhance the understanding of human settlements at local, regional, and global levels. The journal encourages interdisciplinary research by bringing together experts from various fields such as architecture, urban planning, environmental science, sociology, and economics.
