Francisco Rebelo is a Professor at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Lisbon, where he serves as Director of the ergoUX Lab and Coordinator of the Ergonomics Research Group. He is also a collaborating researcher at the Institute of Interactive Technologies (ITI/LarSyS), University of Lisbon. Professor Rebelo holds an international authority in user-centered design, usability, and user experience, with expertise in applying virtual reality to optimize human-computer interaction design. His research findings have been widely applied in fields such as industrial design, safety warning systems, and emergency evacuation simulation.
