Boya Guo is a Research Professor of Urban Planning at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Urban Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Arts (Double Major) from Peking University, and a Master in Design Studies and Doctor of Design from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. She was recognized as a 2023 Shanghai Overseas High-Level Talent. Throughout her academic journey and professional career, she has received numerous significant awards.

Professor Guo has published extensively in her field, including multiple SCI-indexed journal articles and several book chapters. Her research and publications have made substantial contributions to urban planning and heritage studies scholarship, establishing her as a distinguished researcher in the discipline.
