Hui Li is an Emeritus Professor at Peking University, with B.Eng. and M.S. degrees from School of Information Eng., Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, and Ph.D. degree from Dept. of Information Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He serves as Chief Information Scientist of IASTIC (International Academician Science & Technology Innovation Center), Foreign Academician of Russia Academy of Natural Science, Foreign Academician of the Serbian National Academy of Sciences, Member of Expert Committee of World Digital Tech. Academy under guidance of UN Commission on Sci.&Tech. for Developments, Fellow of IET, Senior Member of IEEE & China CCF. He was Director of PKU Lab of CENI (China Environment for Network Innovations), National Major Research Infrastructure. (1) He contributed the technical solution MIN for the Community of Shared Future in Cyberspace globally. MIN was selected as one of the world's leading Internet scientific and technological achievements. The relevant monographs in both Chinese and English have been released, and it won the sole Diamond Award (first prize) at the 2022 UK International Invention Exhibition. (2) He proposed a complete set of patented solutions to solve the CAP trilemma of large scale consortium blockchains. The monograph, jointly published by IEEE and Wiley, offered solid tech support for the security of the Community of Shared Future in Cyberspace and the implementation of the core system of the digital economy. (3) He is a world leading researcher in distributed storage coding theory and system research, achieving great economic benefits and incomparable environmental protection benefits. (4) In terms of important social services, commissioned by the Shenzhen Municipal Government, he led the writing of two major scientific research platforms, namely "Construction Plan of the Cyberspace National Laboratory" and "Proposal for the National Major Scientific and Technological Infrastructure of the Future Network", contributing to their implementation in Shenzhen.
