Open Access Policy

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access. Additionally, all articles published in JSC are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription charges or registration barriers.

Copyright Permissions

JSC provides fully gold open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports the global exchange of knowledge. All articles in JSC are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY) license, which allows users to unrestrictedly read, print, download, disseminate, reproduce, alter, transform, or build upon the article, including for commercial and non-commercial purposes, as long as the original author is credited. Gold OA allows the final version of an article or manuscript freely and permanently accessible for everyone, immediately after publication.

For all Open Access articles, authors retain the copyright to their work.
